SHAKESPEAREAN FESTIVAL
N-QADA students will perform in the Shakespearean Festival in Sydney. Their piece will be a combination of physical theatre and Shakespearean text. This piece will also be workshopped to be performed later in the month at the Convention Centre. During their time in Sydney, the students will participate in two workshops with practicing professionals – a Mask workshop at ATYP (Australian Theatre for Young People) and a Shakespearean workshop.
ATOM - Australian Theatresports Open Match
This competition is annual with 8 schools participating this year. It is being coordinated by Melanie Brierley from St Andrews College with assistance from N-QADA. This match will take place on August 6 at the Eisteddfod Hall. Schools from Cooktown and Mareeba are competing with Cairns High Schools and Colleges.
